Capacity Building for Better Nutrition!
The Kainaat Development Association (KDA) under the SIGN Project funded by International Rescue Committee – European Union, successfully organized a 3-day training for Community Outreach Volunteers (COVs), Lady Health Workers (LHWs), and Community Outreach Supervisors (COS) in Kandhkot, District Kashmore.
The training focused on nutrition objectives, anthropometric measurements (MUAC), maternal and child feeding practices, social mobilization, SBCC sessions, and simplified approaches for wasting treatment. Participants also learned about effective data recording, reporting tools, and community engagement strategies.
This initiative aims to strengthen community-based nutrition services, improve maternal and child health, and ensure sustainable practices at the grassroots level. Together, we are working towards a healthier and nourished future for our communities.
